Special container export operation process

1. The shipping company or its agent shall submit an application to the Operations Department for the list of special containers to be exported (including size, box type, weight, etc.). The Operations Department shall confirm with the shipping company or its agent whether the special container can be loaded according to the actual conditions of the port area. For overweight containers, the consent of the Technical Department and department leaders shall be obtained, and the shipping company or agent shall be required to load directly at the shipside;

2. After obtaining the consent of the Operations Department, the shipping company and the agent shall attach the list of export special containers (including size, box type, weight, etc.) when applying for berths from the Operations Department, and copy the list of export special containers to the Planning Department;

3. Before the export special container enters the port, the trailer shall notify the Operations Department and the inspection bridge in advance. For super-high or super-wide containers, the inspection bridge shall guide the trailer to enter the port area from the trolley channel of the 3# door; at the same time, notify the trailer to unload the container at the designated special container yard arranged by the Planning Department;

4. When export special containers enter the port, the inspection bridge should check whether the contact parts between the cargo lashing belt and the container body are buckled. For export special containers that are not tied with shackles, the trailer should be required to re-tie before entering the port area;

5. For special containers directly loaded at the shipside, the trailer should be on standby at the designated bridge crane or at the front of the wharf according to the time arranged by the Operation Department;

6. For export overweight special containers that cannot be directly loaded at the shipside, after obtaining the consent of the department leader and the Operation Department, the inspection bridge will notify the trailer to unload the container at the front of the wharf;

7. For export special containers that require wire rope assistance, the Operation Department should prepare wire ropes and other tools in advance when arranging the unloading of the containers, and the duty supervisor or duty team leader should go to the site to direct the operation;

8. For export special containers, the shipping company or its agent should make additional notes in the pre-allocation list provided to the Planning Department
